Town of Ladysmith’s 2026 Canada Celebrations

Emergency Management Cowichan (EMC) will be joining the Town of Ladysmith’s Canada Day celebrations at Transfer Beach on July 1, 2026.

Stop by our booth to learn more about emergency preparedness, discover simple steps you can take to protect yourself and your family, and pick up free preparedness resources. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to update your emergency plan, our team will be available to answer questions and share practical tips for preparing for emergencies such as wildfires, power outages, severe weather, and earthquakes.

Visitors can explore emergency kit displays, learn about local emergency notification systems, and find out how to stay informed before, during, and after an emergency.

We look forward to meeting community members and helping build a more prepared and resilient Cowichan Region.
