The personal information you submit through the EMC website – including your name, residential and email address, and contact number – is collected by the CVRD pursuant to Section 26 (c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (the Act), solely for the purpose of responding to your request to participate in this program. Personal information will only be used for the purpose to which it was collected, unless its release is authorized by its owner or is compelled by a Court or an agent duly authorized under another Act. Your personal information may be shared with FireSmart BC if you qualify for the rebate program in order to facilitate funding.
